Join us this September for the Confidence Run 5K & Walk, a fundraiser supporting the Confident Girls Bright Futures Tanzania School Tour by the Vince Memorial Garden and Education Foundation (VMGEF).
Our goal is to raise $20,000 (200,000) to reach 300 girls in Mwanza, Tanzania March 2027 - through transformational school workshops focused on:
- Confidence Building , Integrity, Peer Pressure Solutions, Journaling
- Leadership Development
- Ongoing Mentorship
- Technology & Digital Skills
This is more than a run, it’s a movement to empower girls with the tools to shape their futures.

The VMGEF Story
A Mother's Tribute
The Vince Memorial Garden and Education Foundation (VMGEF) was formally incorporated in 2023. It was born from an unimaginable loss, but fueled by an unbreakable spirit.
Jahzara Agyemang, a Ghanaian-American educator and former college professor, launched VMGEF in Accra. Recognizing the critical issue of youth unemployment in Ghana, Jahzara channelled her expertise in education into creating tangible, life-changing solutions.
The organization began by piloting its flagship programs in 2024, including the first Girls' STEM camp and comprehensive entrepreneurship courses. Since then, the foundation has rapidly expanded its reach nationwide.
